The first part of the course focuses on the immunological responses crucial for development of an effective vaccine. The second part delves into the challenges involved in clinical trials, safety monitoring, and regulatory processes necessary for vaccine development. The final sessions investigate international policy and challenges to implementing immunisation programs.
